Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern purchases from the online shop extravirgin.bg. Effective from 01.10.2026.

2. Products

We sell food and delicatessen, beverages including alcoholic drinks, cosmetics and other goods; the range changes and grows. Each product page shows the main characteristics, the price, the size, the unit price (per litre or kilogram) and the mandatory label information where applicable. Photos are illustrative; if they differ, the description and the product label apply.

Alcoholic drinks are sold only to persons aged 18 or over. When ordering alcohol you confirm your age; the courier may ask for ID on delivery. We may refuse or cancel an order if we have reason to believe the buyer is under age.

3. How to order and when the contract is made

  • Add products to the cart and click "Checkout".
  • Enter your name, email, phone and address, choose the payment method and, if you need one, invoice details.
  • Before you send the order you see all products, quantities, prices, shipping and the total, and can correct any mistake.
  • The "Order with obligation to pay" button sends the order. The contract is made when you receive the confirmation email with your order number. We keep the order in our system; you get a copy by email.

The contract is concluded in Bulgarian, English or German — the language in which you placed the order. If a product turns out to be unavailable, we will contact you and refund what you paid for it within 14 days.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in euro (EUR) and include VAT. Shipping is charged separately and shown before you order. Payment methods:

  • Bank transfer — to the account in the confirmation email, with the order number as reference. We ship once the transfer arrives. If it does not arrive within 7 days, the order may be cancelled.
  • PayPal — by card or PayPal account; the order is recorded after successful payment
  • Cash on delivery — in Bulgaria only, no extra fee

For parcels outside the EU (USA, Canada) import duties and taxes may be due in the destination country; they are paid by the customer.

5. Products not yet available

For some products we are expecting you can leave a request. A request is not an order and does not bind you: we contact you when the product arrives, and a contract is made only if you then place an order.

6. Delivery

In Bulgaria we deliver with Speedy, abroad with Direx. Prices and delivery times are on the Delivery page. We usually dispatch within 1–2 business days (for bank transfer, after payment) and deliver within 30 days at the latest. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you receive the parcel. Please check the parcel in front of the courier and refuse it or ask for a damage report if it is visibly damaged.

7. Right of withdrawal (14 days)

You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason — easiest with the button below or by email. Details, the model form and exceptions (e.g. opened cosmetics) are on the Returns page.

8. Legal guarantee and complaints

All products carry the statutory guarantee of conformity under Bulgarian law — 2 years from delivery; for goods with a shelf life (food, drinks, cosmetics), until the expiry date if that is shorter. You can complain by email, by phone or in the shop. We will reply and resolve the complaint within 1 month — by repair or replacement, or, if that is not possible, by a price reduction or a refund.

10. Disputes

If you have a complaint, write to us — we reply within 7 business days. You can also contact the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Commission (kzp.bg) and, for out-of-court dispute resolution, its General Conciliation Commission (чрез kzp.bg). Bulgarian law applies, without depriving you of the protection given by the mandatory rules of the country where you live.

11. Changes

We may change these Terms. Orders already placed are governed by the Terms in force on the order date.
