Frequently asked questions
How is olive oil with lemon or garlic made?
At Aristeon the fresh lemons or garlic are milled and pressed together with the olives. The same goes for the chili peppers and the bitter oranges. No flavourings, essences, extracts or other additives are used — neither before nor after.
Is this extra virgin olive oil?
The olives and the method are the same as for Aristeon extra virgin olive oil. Under the rules, however, olive oil milled together with lemon, garlic or another ingredient does not carry the name "extra virgin", so the label reads "olive oil milled with lemon" and similar.
Which sizes are available?
Lemon, garlic and bitter orange come in 250 ml, 500 ml and 1 L tins. The chili oil comes in 250 ml and 500 ml.
Can I cook with it?
Yes, but the aroma is best when the oil is added at the end — over a finished dish, a salad, pasta or fish.
